The D-Link DGS-1010MP 10-Port Gigabit PoE Switch is an ideal solution for small office and enterprise environments looking to expand their network with Gigabit connectivity. With eight Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, you can power more PoE-enabled cameras, access points, and VoIP phones using standard Ethernet cables.
One Gigabit Ethernet port and one SFP uplink allow additional connections for storage or uplink network.
DGS-1010MP features eight 10/100 / 1000BASE-T ports that support IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE). This enables devices to be installed in locations without any power outlets, which saves installation costs and reduces the time it takes to install new hardware.
The switch features one Gigabit Ethernet uplink SFP port for high speed connections to remote storage or for long distance fiber connections to the uplink network. It also includes switching between storage and forwarding to increase network performance while reducing packet loss during data transfer.
Compact and silent design
The DGS-1010MP features a compact 11-inch design, so it can be deployed anywhere within easy reach of the workplace, allowing you to power a range of PoE-powered devices while avoiding excessive cable clutter. The switch also features a fanless design, ensuring a quiet working environment.
Environmentally friendly technology
DGS-1010MP supports Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) IEEE 802.3az, which reduces power consumption of the switch when network usage is low and reduces operating costs during periods of inactivity. Using EEE-compliant devices with the DGS-1010MP, enterprises can significantly reduce power consumption by having the switch automatically put the ports into sleep mode when not in use.
D-Link Corporation changed its name from Datex Systems Inc.
In 1994, when it became a public company and when it became the first network company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
It is now publicly traded on the TSEC and NSE stock exchanges. In 1988, Datex Systems Inc.
LearnSmart’s first peer-to-peer network operating system in the industry, is able to work concurrently with early networking systems such as NetWare and Novell’s TCP / IP which most small network operating systems cannot do at the time. In 2013, D-Link released its master draft of the dual-band 802.11ac AC1750 wireless router (DIR-868L) which had the fastest wireless transfer rate ever tested by SmallN eBuilder as of May 2013. In April 2019, D-Link was named “Gartner Peer Insights ‘Customers’ Choice of Infrastructure for Wired and Wireless LAN Access”.
